ALINA’S COOKING CLASS. 1

Alina’s cooking class was an amazing experience. We learned to make 3 different pasta dishes using the freshest ingredients on a farm surrounded by olive trees with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Alina is incredibly knowledgeable about wine, olive oil, and Italian cooking and her emphasis on slow and healthy cooking was much appreciated. The class is a nice balance of hands-on learning, especially when it comes to making the pasta, Alina demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques, and sharing her wealth of knowledge. Afterwards, you get to enjoy the food over a glass of wine and take in the marvelous views which perfectly wraps up the class. Overall, we highly recommend this class, Alina is a passionate cook and teacher and offers a truly memorable experience.

PERFECT CLASS, HANDS-ON AND DELICIOUS

The class starts with tasting organic olive oil made right there on the farm and comparing it to other types. Alina then gets everyone involved right away. Our class made pasta from scratch and then formed them into various shapes. Everything we cooked was delicious. Alina answered all questions as well as guided us gently. All this plus every ingredient fresh and the setting is beautiful in Umbria. All at the farm (including three big labs and a beautiful little girl) are welcoming, speak good English, and share their knowledge readily. Perfect.

WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO SPEND OUR DAY! 

The range of pastas and sauces (and tiramisu!) we made from scratch exceeded our expectations. Alina was warm, welcoming and conveyed the friendliness and familial style we had heard of and associated with Italy. We found the experience relaxing, informative, intimate and delicious. Alina has a clear passion and set of knowledge that went beyond just this experience!
